AirSon has been given the great privilege of replacing existing steam boiler and heat pump at Arla Foods Kalmar operations.
The contract, that is a turn-key EPC-contract (Engineering, Procurement and construction) covers the replacement of 3,5 MW electrical steam boiler, a state of the art heat pump and a transformer, among other minor components. The project that is under way since a few months will be completed during Q1 -2024.
AirSon Engineering is constantly working with similar projects within the Food & Beverage industry. AirSon is utilizing the in-house acquired competence within the field of energy smart solutions. In other words we are helping our customers to de-carbonize, for a better planet!
This project has earned significant recognition within the Arla group and is highly likely to be followed by additional initiatives aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and achieving a fossil-free future. See below link for more information (article in Swedish)

Arla's dairy in Kalmar is a well reputed facility within the Arla group with well-known products such as Grevé, Herrgård, Präst, Castello, etc. The facility was built in 1954, has about 100 employees and uses approximately 150 million kilos of milk per year for the different end-products.
