AirSon helps Oatly build a new factory in the UK

Oatly is building a new factory in Peterborough and AirSon has made the basic design for all utility systems in the factory.

AirSon has worked with Oatly for several years and the latest project has involved designing modern and energy efficient utility systems for the new factory in Peterborough, UK.

The factory is estimated to launch in Q1 2023. It will be able to produce 300 000 000 litres of oat drink per year, making the factory one of the largest of its kind in the world.

We at AirSon are very happy to be a part of this project, and to gain the continued trust of such an innovative and expanding company as Oatly!

Oatly is a Swedish company that among other things produces oat drinks and ice cream, completely free of milk and soy protein. Oatly started their production in Landskrona where they still have a large production site, but they also have (in addition to the new UK factory) factories in Holland, Singapore, China and the US. The head office is located in Malmö. Oatly went public on the U.S. stock exchange in spring 2021.
