AirSon Engineering has delivered a turnkey clean room with belonging utility systems to Gränges in Finspång, Sweden. The cleanroom is built in one of Gränge's existing industrial halls, and it´s layout and design are adapted to their aluminum foil production. The cleanroom is approximately 630 m² and has with good margins passed the validation for a IOS class 8 clean room at rest.

The clean room filtered supply air is distributed with AirSon’s unique platform technology, TLA (Temperature controlled Laminar Airflow). With calm airflows it makes use of the air flows in the room. This contributes to an energy efficient design while ensuring cleanness and temperature demands is fulfilled.

A load-bearing steel construction for the sandwich walls and suspended ceiling. On top of the steel construction lays the ventilation ducts and electric ladders. The existing concrete slab has been polished and an epoxy coating has been applied on top of it. The clean room has been equipped with a 12.5 ton traverse.

Gränges drives the development of lighter, smarter, and more sustainable aluminum products and solutions. The new cleanroom will be used for slitting aluminum foil for customers who have high demands on cleanliness of the material.
